ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT QUALITY, INSTALLATION AND CARE.

IN ORDER TO ENJOY YOUR HIGH-QUALITY PARQUET FLOORING FOR MANY YEARS TO COME, PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION AND CARE IS ESSENTIAL

timura parquet flooring offers premium quality in every respect. Exquisite solid wood is innovatively refined, adding value to the natural wood and increasing its resistance to external influences. But timura parquet remains a natural product that lends each room a lively warmth and cosy feel.

Whether you opt for parquet flooring from the timura Efficient Line or Resistant Line – you are guaranteed the same premium quality. To further enhance your experience of living with wood and to bring the wood structures to life, timura parquet is only treated with protective oils. This allows the wood to "work and breathe", which means that it is able to absorb and easily release a certain amount of moisture. You should always be aware of atmospheric humidity when heating rooms – at a room temperature of 16-22°C, a humidity level of 40-60 % is ideal for both people and wood.

A GOOD SUBSTRATE IS KEY TO OPTIMUM INSTALLATION, PERFECT COMFORT UNDERFOOT AND GOOD FOOTFALL SOUND INSTALLATION. PROTECT YOUR OUTDOOR SPACE AGAINST PRYING EYES – YOUR OWN SECLUDED OASIS.

Your timura parquet should be installed on a mineral substrate, such as screed. This substrate ensures reliable sealing against moisture and protects the parquet. Prior to installation of your parquet flooring, the substrate should be clean, dry and even. Any unevenness in the substrate may be subsequently visible on the surface of the parquet and cause damage to the flooring. Any undulations and inclinations of the substrate should be evened out using a levelling compound.

OILED PARQUET IS EASY-CARE AND – IF PROPERLY MAINTAINED – EXTREMELY HARDWEARING.

The parquet can be cleaned regularly using a vacuum cleaner (fitted with a special parquet brush), a broom or by damp cleaning. Hygienic cleaning is achieved using a moist cloth/mop, whereby it's important to wring the mop/cloth out well before use to ensure that the parquet flooring is cleaned using as little moisture as possible. Pure water should not be used to clean oiled natural floors – to properly maintain your parquet flooring, we recommend using a suitable care product such as the timura Premium Parquet Cleaner. Such products make the cleaning and care of parquet as easy as cleaning laminate or tiles.

The cleaning agent protects the wood and makes the surface more resistant to dirt and scratches. Only use cloths made from cotton wherever possible, as cloths made from synthetic fibres, including micro-fibres, may roughen the naturally oiled surface.

AN INTENSIVE BOOSTER TREATMENT WITH A MAINTENANCE OIL HELPS MAINTAIN THE VALUE OF YOUR PARQUET FLOORING AND ENSURES IT STAYS LOOKING BEAUTIFUL. WE MAKE BESPOKE FENCING TO SUIT YOUR INDIVIDUAL WISHES AND REQUIREMENTS:

When treating your flooring with maintenance oil, the pores of the wood are saturated with oil, bringing new shine and colour intensity to your parquet flooring. If the parquet is subject to normal use, such as in the living room, we recommend oiling once a year. In rooms subject to greater footfall, we recommend treating the parquet with oil as and when required. Prior to treating with maintenance oil, you should thoroughly damp-clean your parquet and leave it to dry for 8 to 12 hours. We recommend treating your timura parquet flooring with our timura Premium Maintenance Oil.
