TIMURA | COMFORT LINE
A TERRACE FLOORING THAT'S AS LUXURIOUS AS PARQUET.

THE REVOLUTIONARY AND INNOVATIVE TERRACE FLOORING SYSTEM THAT IS LAID WITHOUT ANY JOINTS LIKE PARQUET. LUXURY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER.

Creating the same appearance both inside and outside is not completely new. It has been possible until now by using the same thermally refined woods and matching structures and colours of timura Classic Line and Modern Line terrace flooring and parquets.

Only the requisite gap for laying the boards and the joints between them distinguish them from parquet in visual terms.

AN ALTERNATIVE FOR PERFECTIONISTS AND INDIVIDUALISTS: THE JOINT-FREE COMFORT LINE TERRACE FLOORING.

The innovative development of this product has resulted in two main benefits. Firstly, there is their elegant appearance and secondly, they are easy to clean and maintain, as they are laid without joints.

The Comfort Line product portfolio comprises 10 structures. As regards wood, there is a choice between thermo ash (durability class 1) and thermo pine or thermo poplar (durability class 2).

USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE, INSTALLATION, SUBSTRUCTURE AND FIXING.

The terrace flooring is laid on an aluminium substructure. A special tongue and groove geometry is used to bond the boards joint-free lengthwise.

No screws are used to secure the boards to the substructure – they are instead anchored to the substructure using so-called Z-profiles. These allow the flooring a slight degree of lateral movement. The union with the substructure serves the sole purpose of ensuring that the terrace flooring can withstand stormy weather and high winds.

SUFFICIENT LEEWAY TO COPE WITH SWELLING AND SHRINKAGE – EVEN IN A JOINT-FREE INSTALLATION

Across its width the entire floor is held together by means of flat springs. These flat springs are made of steel and hold the wood under tension, yet giving it a certain amount of leeway for swelling and shrinkage.

The springs are fitted below an aluminium cover profile and therefore are not visible. In order to create sufficient tension, these springs and cover profiles are fitted laterally at the end of the terrace flooring or at intervals of no more than 6 m along their length. A cover of this type is not necessary lengthwise.
